This study aims to explore the perspective of Islamic law and the views of community nursing on tubectomy, as well as to examine the medical and social factors that influence decision making. This study uses a qualitative approach with a phenomenological method and a case study design. Involving four participants from various backgrounds, namely two scholars, one community health nurse, one patient who has undergone a tubectomy procedure, all sources domiciled in Sumedang. Data were collected through offline interviews, then the results of the interviews were processed through various stages starting from collecting data from all interview sources and relevant journals, managing data by checking the accuracy of the data, interpreting data, and drawing conclusions. The results of the study indicate that there are various factors that cause tubectomy to become one of the contraceptive methods used, this is influenced by the number of children, health factors, economic factors, and career priorities. The perspective of scholars highlights that tubectomy is contrary to Islamic teachings because of its nature which causes infertility, and changes human nature. If used for birth control, it is forbidden unless it is used for reasons that are in accordance with sharia. Meanwhile, the findings also show the important role of community nurses as educators who bridge medical understanding and religious values in society. Formal and participatory education involving religious and community leaders has proven effective in increasing acceptance of this procedure. This study concludes that tubectomy is ethically and religiously acceptable if carried out within the framework of sharia, with appropriate health and educational considerations.
2025-09-04T00:00:00-04:00Copyright (c) 2025 International Journal Mathla’ul Anwar of Halal Issueshttps://journal.halalunmabanten.id/index.php/ijma/article/view/152PENGARUH INTEGRASI KONTEN DIGITAL TERHADAP NIAT SERTIFIKASI HALAL WIRAUSAHAWAN MUSLIM DI ERA INFORMASI DIGITAL: SURVEI PADA WIRUSAHAWAN MUSLIM UMKM KARAWANG2025-09-06T02:13:51-04:00Irfan Mujahidiniskandarmes2016@gmail.comIskandar Sulaeman iskandarsulaiman6@gmail.com
Halal certification is an important aspect for Muslim business actors, not only as a fulfillment of religious obligations, but also as a strategy to increase competitiveness. This study adopted a qualitative research method with a field approach, using direct observation and in-depth interviews involving 12 informants. The informants included app users, culinary entrepreneurs, and app developers. With the rapid development of digital technology, various business sectors are required to continuously innovate through the use of modern apps, including online food ordering services. Platforms such as GoFood, GrabFood, ShopeeFood, and other similar apps have now become part of the urban lifestyle. However, amidst the dominant Muslim population in Indonesia, the lack of a feature specifically indicating the halal status of food presents a challenge. This lack of clarity can raise concerns among Muslim consumers and limit their choices in accessing food that aligns with religious principles. Halal labels play a crucial role in assuring trust in a product. Therefore, the presence of halal information features in food delivery apps is an urgent need that cannot be ignored, to ensure the fulfillment of Muslim consumers' rights to food that aligns with their religious values.
2025-09-04T00:00:00-04:00Copyright (c) 2025 International Journal Mathla’ul Anwar of Halal Issueshttps://journal.halalunmabanten.id/index.php/ijma/article/view/135PERSPEKTIF ISLAM DAN PERAWAT MENGENAI SAFE AND HYGIENE TERHADAP PENGGUNAAN MENSTRUAL CUP PADA WANITA2025-05-14T00:31:16-04:00Anjaeni Inka Rianaanjaeniinkariana.1906@upi.eduFita Maharanifitamaharani2@upi.eduIntan Mayastikaintanmayastika@upi.eduRafa Khansa Nabilahrafakhansan19@upi.eduRaisha Meirizkameirizka8@upi.eduTedi Supriyaditedisupriyadi@upi.eduAkhmad Faoziakhmad.faozi@upi.edu
The use of menstrual cups is increasingly gaining attention as a hygienic, eco-friendly, and cost-effective alternative to conventional sanitary pads. However, acceptance among Muslim women remains relatively low due to limited health education and concerns regarding religious compatibility. This qualitative study aims to explore the perspectives of healthcare providers and Islamic scholars on the safety and hygiene aspects of menstrual cup use among women. The study involved in-depth interviews with three primary participant groups: menstrual cup users, nurses, and Islamic scholars in the Cimalaka Subdistrict. The findings indicate that, from a medical perspective, menstrual cups are considered safe and hygienic when used properly and accompanied by adequate education. From a religious perspective, scholars stated that menstrual cup use is permissible as long as it does not block the flow of menstrual blood and does not cause harm. The results also reveal that public knowledge about menstrual cups remains low, especially in areas with limited access to information. Religious views play a significant role in influencing women's decisions regarding the use of this product. This study concludes that collaborative education involving healthcare providers, religious leaders, and users is essential to enhance public understanding and acceptance. With the right approach, menstrual cups have the potential to become a widely accepted menstrual management tool that aligns with both health standards and religious values.
2025-09-04T00:00:00-04:00Copyright (c) 2025 International Journal Mathla’ul Anwar of Halal Issueshttps://journal.halalunmabanten.id/index.php/ijma/article/view/133ANALISIS TINGKAT PENGETAHUAN DAN FAKTOR YANG MEMPENGARUHI PEMBELIAN PRODUK MAKANAN DAN MINUMAN HALAL PADA SISWA SMP DI KOTA SEMARANG2025-04-28T08:35:47-04:00Dewi Hastutidewiunwahas@gmail.comFarikha Maharanimaharani65@gmail.comTri Siswantisiswanti76@gmail.comLudiro Santosoludiro90@gmail.comMasrochatunmasrohatun4@gmail.comMuchamad Priyo Utomopiyo65@gmail.com
The purpose of the study was to determine the effect of knowledge level, religiosity, health safety of halal food and beverage, and school origin on the decision of junior high school students to purchase halal food and beverage products in Semarang City. A halal lifestyle is defined as behavior that is in accordance with Islamic law, encompassing all dimensions of life, not just food and drink. Although this trend is growing rapidly, public understanding is often shallow and limited to food certification. Therefore, this article uses a literature study approach with the Maqasid Syariah framework to analyze the relationship between a halal lifestyle and the five main objectives of sharia (al-dharuriyat al-khamsah). The results show that a halal lifestyle is fundamentally correlated with the protection of religion (Hifdz al-Din), life (Hifdz al-Nafs), reason (Hifdz al-‘Aql), offspring (Hifdz al-Nasl), and property (Hifdz al-Mal). This practice is a form of obedience, maintaining physical and mental health, protecting the mind from harmful substances, forming a harmonious family, and creating a just and sustainable economic system. In conclusion, a halal lifestyle is not just a set of rules, but a comprehensive philosophy of life to achieve true well-being. Maqasid Syariah provides a rational and philosophical foundation, proving that every rule in Islam has a noble purpose to create a balanced, healthy and dignified life.
2025-09-04T00:00:00-04:00Copyright (c) 2025 International Journal Mathla’ul Anwar of Halal Issueshttps://journal.halalunmabanten.id/index.php/ijma/article/view/144ANALISIS KESIAPAN EKOSISTEM HALAL VALUE CHAIN INDONESIA DALAM MENDUKUNG DAYA SAING PRODUK HALAL LOKAL DI PASAR GLOBAL2025-08-02T22:42:34-04:00Nurfadilah Maulananurfadilahmaulana02@gmail.comWardah Jafar wardahjafar1971@gmail.com
This study aims to analyze the readiness level of the halal value chain (HVC) ecosystem in Indonesia to support the competitiveness of local halal products in the global market. The results indicate that the readiness of the Indonesian HVC ecosystem is still partial, with glaring weaknesses in halal logistics, technology adoption, Islamic financing, and compliance with global halal standards. Meanwhile, the regulatory and certification sectors have shown progress, but are not yet optimal in reaching halal MSMEs. Method: This research employed field observation and direct interviews with the MSME owner. Semi-structured interviews were conducted to gather information related to the production process, marketing strategies, and the business owner's level of understanding regarding halal certification. The data were analyzed using a descriptive-qualitative method with a case study approach. Results and Discussion: The findings indicate that the chicken slaughtering process is conducted manually in accordance with Islamic law, supported by the use of a feather-removal machine to make the cleaning process faster and more efficient. Product management remains traditional, from the selection of raw materials, slaughtering process, to simple packaging. Promotion is carried out modestly through social networks and the use of WhatsApp to take orders and communicate with regular customers. The business has not yet obtained official halal certification, and the owner lacks understanding of the procedures and benefits of the certification. The business owner’s awareness of the importance of halal certification remains low, and there is no halal supervisor involved in the production process. This highlights the need for guidance and education to improve MSMEs' understanding of halal product management. Conclusion: This study concludes that although the chicken slaughtering practice complies with basic Islamic principles, formal legal recognition in the form of halal certification has not yet been obtained. This presents a significant challenge for MSMEs in building consumer trust in the growing halal industry. Active involvement from the government, certification bodies, and academics is needed to support MSMEs in enhancing their knowledge, legal compliance, and management of products according to national halal standards.
2025-09-04T00:00:00-04:00Copyright (c) 2025 International Journal Mathla’ul Anwar of Halal Issues
